Henry Dovetail Slot Optics Mount
Skinner’s dovetail slot scope/optic mount is a replacement rear sight that fits into a standard 3⁄8″ dovetail on many lever-guns (Henry, Marlin, Rossi, etc.) and provides a small integral dovetail / Weaver-style base for attaching an optic.

It does not provide a drilled-and-tapped receiver like a true Picatinny rail; it’s a dovetail mount that ends up acting like a tiny Weaver/Picatinny rail.

limited to red dot sights that can be mounted to a Weaver/Picatinny rail, or those that are small enough to work on that little section of rail without excessive leverage.

Larger pistol footprint optics (e.g., RMR, RMSc etc.) usually don’t mount directly to this unless you use some kind of adapter plate and adapters on such a short rail can be unreliable.
